Power Shift:
Energy + Sustainability
Since premiering in 2004, the Power Shift television program has reached more than 4 million people via PBS broadcasts and distribution to schools, non-profit organizations, museums, and libraries. Statewide educational initiatives in California, North Carolina, Michigan, Alaska, and New York have reached hundreds of thousands of students and citizens, creating a powerful network for social change.

Global Youth Summits
WorldLink has convened three Global Youth Summits, bringing together 127 youth leaders from more than 50 nations. Working in small teams, participants explore global issues and learn leadership and communication skills. During the weeklong program, students interact with distinguished adult mentors and develop youth action plans for their own communities.

US-Japan Education Forum
WorldLink designed and hosted the first US-Japan Education Forum, a collaborative inquiry into learning, technology, and culture. A model for teacher professional development, the forum guided teachers through a process of creating curriculum-based websites.

EnvironmentBridge
An interdisciplinary program linking schools in Brazil and the United States. EnvironmentBridge combined online communication, curriculum resources, and service learning projects to build an understandings of global and local environmental issues.

A web-based curriculum program for secondary school teachers and students. Using an inquiry-based approach, students investigated places, cultures, and issues around the globe.

A series of professional development workshops for K-12 teachers to discover strategies for integrating a global perspective in their curriculum. Convened in Hawaii, California, New York, and Florida, the workshops reached hundreds of teachers and inspired thousands of students.
